MARAD National Defense Reserve Fleet Industry Day

The Maritime Administration (MARAD) will host a National Defense Reserve Fleet (NDRF) Industry Day at the U.S. Department of Transportation on May 22, 2018 from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm.

The NDRF Industry Day is being held to discuss the following: plans for the construction of the National Security Multi-Mission Vessel (NSMV); recapitalization of the NDRF, including the training ships and the Ready Reserve Force (RRF), vessel repowering; and decommissioning of the NS SAVANNAH. Each topic will be discussed sequentially.

We request that questions be emailed in advance to NSMV@dot.gov.  There will be an opportunity to ask questions during the program and for two weeks following the program.  All questions and responses will be made available to the public.

U.S. Department of Transportation is located at 1200 New Jersey Ave SE Washington D.C. 20590. Admittance is open to all interested parties and requires advance registration.
