Historical Narrative



The USS Florikan (ASR-9) was withdrawn from the Suisun Bay Reserve Fleet on July 26, 2010, under a recycling contract.  Dismantlement was completed on December 29, 2010.  Before the Florikan departed, the Maritime Administration conducted a National Register Eligibility Assessment, which includes a vessel history.
