Hosted by the National Port Readiness Network (NPRN) and American Association of Port Authorities (AAPA). Located at the Federal Aviation Administration - Auditorium, 800 Independence Avenue, SW, Washington, DC 20591. The workshop objectives are to provide training, discuss deployment related issues, identify recommendations to improve the readiness of the commercial Strategic Ports to handle military cargo during a contingency or other national emergency and discuss the critical role of the commercial transportation industry and U.S. transportation infrastructure in supporting military deployments.
Who Should Attend
This workshop is intended to bring together the military deployment community made up of the commercial Strategic Ports, NPRN agencies, deploying units, intermodal transportation industry, and other federal and state agencies that play a critical role in supporting the secure deployment of military cargo during a deployment or other national emergency.
