Meetings

The Cooperative meets periodically to discuss
the potential for advancing container transport on the inland
waterways.
The Cooperative has held numerous meetings over the last four
years to define the focus of the group’s efforts. As a result of
recent (MAY ’05) activity, the Cooperative has identified the
need to (1) establish the economic feasibility of
Container-On-Barge transportation on the inland and waterways
and (2) find areas where investment is needed to make barge
transport capacity more accessible and efficient. |
