On this page we will provide
galleries of photographs depicting the Savannah. The
first gallery posted is a series of photographs taken on August
15, 2006, when the ship was removed from the James River Reserve
Fleet and towed to Colonna's Shipyard in Norfolk VA for topside
repairs. Future galleries will include contemporary photos
depicting work in progress on the ship, and historical
photographs from a variety of sources.
