Shipboard Energy Technologies Workshop
April 8, 2004 - Sacramento, CA
The MARAD Shipboard Energy
Technologies Workshop was held in cooperation with the Air Resources
Board State of California Environmental Protection Agency. The
Workshop provided California maritime organizations, air quality
regulators, and other interested parties information regarding
shipboard emission reduction technologies, cost-benefits, and
performance verifications. In addition, MARAD presented an overview
of the Maritime Energy Technologies Program and other initiatives
encouraging ship operators to participate in vessel technology
demonstrations and validations.
