The Maritime Administration (MARAD) has approved eight applications under Section 9 of the Shipping Act, 1916, as amended.  They include:

 

·        Petroleum Transport Corp., New Canaan, CT, has received approval to sell the 5,285-gross-ton tank barge PENNSYLVANIA to Imperial Destiny Shipping, a Panamanian corporation, and transfer said Vessel to Panamanian registry and flag.

 

The vessel was built in 1971 in Moss Point, MS.

 

·        Petroleum Transport Corp., New Canaan, CT, has received approval to sell the 7,244-gross-ton tank barge FLORIDA to Golden Amphora Marine S.A., a Panamanian corporation, and transfer said Vessel to Panamanian registry and flag.

 

The vessel was built in 1980 in Houston, TX.

 

·        Petroleum Transport Corp., New Canaan, CT has received approval to sell the 12,752-gross-ton tank barge NEW YORK to Mystic Ocean Shipmanagement S.A., a Panamanian corporation, and transfer said Vessel to Panamanian registry and flag.

 

The vessel was built in 1970 in Port Arthur, TX.

 

·        America’s Best, Inc., New Orleans, LA, has received approval to sell the 1,837-gross-ton deck barge SANTO DOMINGO to Industrial Transport, Ltd., a Trinidad corporation, and transfer said Vessel to Trinidad registry and flag.

 

The vessel was built in 1976 in San Pedro, CA.

 

 

·        Vessel Management Services, Inc., Seattle, WA, has received approval to sell the 9,037-gross-ton cargo barge CMC 450-12 to Marine Carrier AB, a Swedish corporation, and transfer said Vessel to Swedish registry and flag.

 

The vessel was built in 1976 in Japan.

 

·        Cleveland Tankers (1991), Inc., Cleveland, OH, has received approval to sell the 5,833-gross-ton tanker GEMINI to Algoma Tankers Limited., a Canadian corporation, and transfer said Vessel to Canadian registry and flag.

 

The vessel was built in 1978 in Orange, TX.

 

·        Lone Wolf, Inc., San Diego, CA, has received approval to transfer the 1,042-gross-ton fishing vessel LONE WOLF to Venezuelan registry and flag as an incident to the sale alien of said Vessel.

 

The vessel was built in 1982 in Port Arthur, TX.

 

·        Cape Elizabeth Fishing, LP, San Pedro, CA, has received approval to transfer the 1,793-gross-ton fishing vessel CAPE ELIZABETH to Mexican registry and flag.

 

The vessel was built in 1982 in Sturgeon Bay, WI.
