The Maritime Administration (MARAD) has approved five applications under section 9 of
the Shipping Act, 1916, as amended. They are:
Vessel Management Services, Inc., Seattle, WA, has received approval to transfer the
69-gross-ton towing vessel BELAYA KUROPATKA to Russian registry and flag, without change
in the ownership of said Vessel.
The vessel was built in 1982 in Anacortes, WA.
- Crowley Marine Services, Inc., Seattle, WA, has received approval to transfer the
193-gross-ton towing vessel SIOUX to Russian registry and flag, without change in the
ownership of said Vessel.
The vessel was built in 1970 in Tacoma, WA.
- Diamond Offshore (USA) L.L.C., Houston, TX, has received approval to transfer the
13,804-gross-ton semisubmersible vessel OCEAN AMBASSADOR to Marshall Islands registry and
flag, without change in the ownership of said Vessel.
The vessel was built in 1975 in Beaumont, TX.
- San Antonio Maritime Corporation, San Juan, PR, has received approval to sell the
9,259-gross-ton barge MARY CECILIA to Berendam Holdings, N.V., a Netherlands corporation,
and transfer said Vessel to Panamanian registry and flag.
The vessel was built in 1979 in Brooklyn, NY.
- Cape Hatteras Fishing, LP, Wilmington, DE, has received approval to sell the
1,092-gross-ton fishing vessel CAPE HATTERAS to Silla Co., Ltd., a South Korean
corporation, and transfer said Vessel to South Korea registry and flag.
The vessel was built in 1980 in Sturgeon Bay, WI.
